    Monday  (Theme: “Your Future Is Too Bright For Drugs!”/Tobacco and Vaping)

      • Students and staff may wear neon colors and sunglasses.
      • Tobacco and vaping will be covered by Reveur and Tassel.
      • Counselors will pop into classes with random statistics regarding vaping and tobacco use.
      • The history of Red Ribbon Week will be given during the morning announcements.
      • Throughout the day, there will be timed intervals for a diagnosis regarding smoking or vaping.
      • There will also be a “newscast” made by the students to be shown by teachers during their Advisory Class.
      • There will be pictures put up throughout the building to show the effects of tobacco and vaping.

     

    Tuesday  (Theme: “Friends Don’t Let Friends Do Drugs!”/Alcohol)

      • Students and staff may wear duos, trios, or group matching outfits.
      • Alcohol and Drunk Driving will be covered by Akhandata.
      • Counselors will pop into classes with random statistics regarding alcohol use.
      • Throughout the day, there will be timed intervals for a diagnosis regarding alcohol use.
      • There will also be a “newscast” made by the students to be shown by teachers during their Advisory Class.
      • There will be pictures put up throughout the building to show the effects of alcohol.

     

    Wednesday  (Theme: “Give Drugs The Boot!”/Marijuana)

      • Students and staff may wear country western clothes.
      • Marijuana will be covered by Heshima and Ubungani.
      • Counselors will pop into classes with random statistics regarding marijuana.
      • Throughout the day, there will be timed intervals for a diagnosis regarding marijuana.
      • There will also be a “newscast” made by the students to be shown by teachers during their Advisory Class.
      • There will be pictures put up throughout the building to show the effects of marijuana.

     

    Thursday  (Theme: “Be Happy, Become Grown Up, and Don’t Do Drugs!”/Pills)

      • Students and staff may wear Adam Sandler attire: Oversized t-shirts and basketball shorts.
      • Pills will be covered by Esperanza.
      • Counselors will pop into classes with random statistics regarding pill abuse.
      • Throughout the day, there will be timed intervals for a diagnosis regarding pill abuse.
      • There will also be a “newscast” made by the students to be shown by teachers during their Advisory Class.
      • There will be pictures put up throughout the building to show the effects of pill abuse.

     

    Friday  (Theme: “Our School Is Drug Free!”/Heroin, Cocaine, Meth, Fentanyl)

      • Students and staff may wear their red/pink attire for Red/Pink Out Day.
      • Heroin, Cocaine, Meth, and Fentanyl will be covered by Altruismo and Isibindi.
      • Counselors will pop into classes with random statistics regarding methamphetamine abuse.
      • Throughout the day, there will be timed intervals for a diagnosis regarding methamphetamine abuse.
      • There will also be a “newscast” made by the students to be shown by teachers during their Advisory Class.
      • There will be pictures put up throughout the building to show effects of methamphetamine abuse.
