  • Please support 5th Grade as they prepare for Science Boot Camp


    We are asking all students and staff to wear the following each day to remember how science influences our lives.


    4/29 ~ Wear green to represent how life continues to grow.

    4/30 ~ Wear camouflage to represent how animals hide to protect themselves.

    5/1 ~ Wear red or blue to show how temperature changes matter.

    5/2 ~ Wear yellow or orange to show how energy flows.

    5/3 ~ Dress in stripes to represent the layers of rocks.

    5/6 ~ Dress in yellow to represent the sun and its influence on the Earth.

    5/7 ~ Dress in circles or polka dots to represent the Earth's cycles.

    5/8 ~ Dress in blue to represent the water cycle.

    We hope your first week back to school is going great! The 2018 - 2019 PTA is doing an amazing job already!  If you haven't joined yet, the fee is only $5.

    Mornings: Doors open at 7:35, Student breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 7:35-8:00am. $1.25 (5 days $6.25)
    Students not eating breakfast will go to the small gym if they enter before 8:00 (first bell) and are in grades kindergarten through 2nd grade. Students in grades 3 - 5 report to the cafeteria.  The teachers escort the students, by class, to their classrooms at 8:00. Students arriving between 8:00 - 8:10 will walk directly to their classrooms.

    Lunch times vary, please see student's teacher for exact times. Teachers will have their schedules on their websites (teachers new to the building will have it soon, the office has all schedules).  Lunch money can be added online,, and you will need your student's ID number. Call the office (817-547-3100) to get this number when setting up your account for the first time. You may also send cash/check with your child, in an evelope with child's first and last name. Checks are payable to Foster Village Elementary. Regular lunch is $2.70 (5 days $13.50). Lunch menus are available at
