Google Accounts - We dropped the "G"
We have dropped the “g.” out of the Birdville Google logins! Everyone will now use their district email address and current google password to log into Google resources. Our technology team is also working on eliminating the separate google password as well and will provide more details in the next few days.
As a reminder: New BISD Computer and Google accounts are being created for all students. More information will be shared with principals and campus administrators next week at Admin University.

Access to the NEW Portal
The my.birdvilleschools.net portal received a new updated look and feel over the break!
As a reminder, the portal will not be accessible to students until they return in August.

FreshService Ticketing System & Support Portal
The Help Desk department has implemented a new ticketing service called FreshService. This new support portal can be found here or by navigating to our technology webpage and clicking on BISD Support Portal & Knowledge Base.

New Password Requirements
Beginning November 7th, all BISD staff will be required to update their password to a 16-digit passphrase. For more information, please click here to watch this announcement video presented by our security and technology team.

Microsoft Office 365 Home Use Program
BISD staff members with an office 365 account are allowed to install up to 5 instances of office on home use devices. The Office 2016 Professional suite includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher and more! Please note: The technology department does not support software on personal computers.

Getting SPAM E-mail Messages?
The district has a no-spam mailbox setup for you to forward unwanted 'SPAM' messages to. If you receive a message in your inbox that you feel is junk mail, you can "forward" a copy of it to : nospam@birdvilleschools.net - we will review the message and unsubscribe or block as needed. After forwarding the spam message, you can remove it (delete) from your inbox.
