    Welcome to the Foster Village Elementary Counseling web site.

    I have been an educator for 16 years.

    This is my second year as a School Counselor and my first year at FVE.

    I earned my undergraduate teaching degree from Valparaiso University.

    I earned my master's degree from John Carroll University.

    I achieved my Texas certification for Guidance Counseling through Dallas Baptist University.


    The following counseling services will be provided at FVE:

    Classroom Guidance:  Teaching students lessons in the classroom pertaining to BISD CORE VALUES:  Community Of Respect Everywhere:  Responsibility, Empathy, Kindness, Honesty, Acceptance & Courage

    Individual Counseling:  Students are welcome to visit with me during school on an as needed basis.  Students are required to bring parent permission after one visit.

    Group Counseling:  Upon request from students, parents and teachers:  topics may include study skills, making friends, divorce, grief, anger, behavior, etc.
