    Monday  (Theme: “Your Future Is BRIGHT!”)

    • Students and staff may wear NEON clothing to indicate that our future is bright.
    • Red ribbons will be distributed to all students and staff to wear all week.
    • The Red Ribbon Week theme will be on the marquee and SES Facebook.
    • Announcement will be made promoting “Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free.”
    • High on Life video #1 will be provided to teachers to show their class.
    • P.E. classes will complete unit on Saying No to Drugs, dealing with peer pressure, and healthy ways to relieve stress.
    • Grades PK–2 will complete a “Say Boo To Drugs!” ghost coloring sheet and grades 3–5 will have a ghost worksheet with an area to write how they plan to stay drug free. Best work will be displayed in the hallway by our P.E. bulletin board.
    • Banner with slogan “Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free.” will be placed in the hallway. Students will sign the banner throughout the week to pledge to be drug free.

    Tuesday  (Theme: “Friends Don’t Let Friends Do Drugs!”)

    • Students and staff may wear matching outfits with their friends to show that “Friends Don’t Let Friends Do Drugs!”
    • Daily announcement will be made about the dangers of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and the importance of being healthy and taking care of our bodies.
    • High on Life video #2 will be provided to teachers to show their class.
    • P.E. classes will complete a unit on Saying No to Drugs, dealing with peer pressure, and healthy ways to relieve stress.

    Wednesday  (Theme: “We Are RED’Y To Be Drug Free!”)

    • Students and staff may wear RED to show that we are “RED’Y To Be Drug Free!”
    • Daily announcement will be made about the dangers of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and the importance of being healthy and taking care of our bodies.
    • High on Life video #3 will be provided to teachers to show their class.
    • P.E. classes will complete a unit on saying no to drugs, dealing with peer pressure, and healthy ways to relieve stress.

    Thursday  (Theme: “Make Drugs Disappear!”)

    • Students and staff may wear camouflage to show their commitment to make drugs disappear.
    • Daily announcement will be made about the dangers of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and the importance of being healthy and taking care of our bodies.
    • High on Life video #4 will be provided to teachers to show their class.
    • P.E. classes will complete a unit on saying no to drugs, dealing with peer pressure, and healthy ways to relieve stress.

    Friday  (Theme: “Follow Your Dreams, Be Drug Free!”)

    • Teachers and staff may wear pajamas to show that “We Will Follow Our Dreams and Be Drug Free!”
    • Announcements will be made providing information about safety, making positive choices, and staying drug and bully free.
    • High on Life video #5 will be provided to teachers to show their class.
    • The Red Ribbon Pledge will be read during morning announcements and recited by students.
