    Monday  (Theme: “I’m RED-Y To Be Drug Free!”)

    • Students and staff may wear red from head to toe.
    • The theme for Red Ribbon Week will be presented during morning announcements.
    • Morning announcements will also include a fact about Red Ribbon Week.
    • Halls will be decorated with themed banners and posters created by the Student Kindness Club and Leadership Team.
    • All students will receive a red “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free!” ribbon.

     

    Tuesday  (Theme: “Team Up Against Drugs!”)

    • Students and staff may wear their favorite sports team jersey or t-shirt.
    • The theme will be presented during morning announcements.
    • Morning announcements will also include a fact about Red Ribbon Week.
    • Boys and Girls Club will present information about Drug Safety to students.

     

    Wednesday  (Theme: “Crazy For Kindness!”)

    • Students and staff may wear crazy hair or socks.
    • The theme will be presented during morning announcements.
    • Morning announcements will also include a fact about Red Ribbon Week.
    • Banner with the slogan: “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free!” will be placed in the hallway. Students will sign the banner throughout the week to pledge to be drug free.

     

    Thursday (Theme: “Have The Power To Say No!”)

    • Students and staff may dress as superheroes or community heroes. (No Face Paint.)
    • The theme will be presented during morning announcements.
    • Morning announcements will also include a fact about Red Ribbon Week.
    • Students will have the opportunity to complete Red Ribbon Week coloring pages or crossword puzzles.

     

    Friday (Theme: “Drugs Aren’t In Our Character!”)

    • Students and staff may dress up as their favorite story book character.
    • The theme will be presented during morning announcements.
    • Morning announcements will also include a fact about Red Ribbon Week.
    • Teachers will email Red Ribbon Week pictures to the counselors.
