    Monday  (Theme: “Keep It Clean. Focus On Your Dream!”/Dress As Your Future Dream Career)

    • Students and staff may dress in clothing of their dream career.
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • All students will receive a red “Celebrate LIFE. Live Drug Free!” ribbon.   
    • Students will decorate a hand (die-cut) to pledge to be drug free. Hands will be added to the “Take My Hand, Make A Stand!” wall in the cafeteria on Tuesday.
    • Main hallway will be decorated with balloon arches at the entry doors. 
    • Art Contest – Posters are due today! Students will make 8.5 x 11 posters with this year’s theme, “Celebrate LIFE. Live Drug Free!” Instructions sent out to students one week prior.

     

    Tuesday  (Theme: “Drugs? As If! Whatever! Talk To The Hand!”/Wear 90’s Clothes)

    • Students and staff may wear clothing from the 90’s era.
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • Hands decorated by students will be added to the “Take My Hand, Make A Stand!” wall in the cafeteria.
    • Art Contest – Students will make 8.5 x 11 posters with this year’s theme, “Celebrate LIFE, Live Drug Free!” Posters will be displayed in the hallway by the library.

     

    Wednesday  (Theme: “You’re So Rad, But Drugs Are Bad!”/Wear 80’s Clothes)

      • Students and staff may wear clothes from the 80’s era.
      • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
      • Students will be given Red Ribbon Week coloring pages.
      • Students dressed in 80’s attire will be entered into classroom drawing to win a prize!
      • Art Contest – Classes will come by to look at posters displayed on the wall from the Art Contest. Each class may vote for their top three favorites.

     

    Thursday  (Theme: “Peace And Love. Say No To Drugs!”/Wear 60’s Or 70’s Clothes)

    • Students and staff may wear clothes from the 60’s-70’s era.  
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • Each grade level will receive a student pledge and a parent pledge to sign.
    • Each student will receive a Red Ribbon themed button.
    • Students dressed in 60’s or 70’s attire will be entered into the classroom drawing to win a prize.

     

    Friday  (Theme: “Twist And Shout, Drugs Are OUT!”/Wear 50’s Clothes)

    • Students may wear clothes from the 50’s era.
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • All students will participate in the annual “Twist And Shout, Drugs Are Out!” dance competition during Specials.
    • Pictures will be taken of winners of the Twist & Shout dance competition for the yearbook.

    Art Contest Winners will be announced. Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
