Debra Gacnik, ContactMonday (Theme: “Red Out Drugs!”/RED Day)
- Students and staff may wear red to show their “Pledge To Be Drug Free.”
- A member of the 5th Grade Leadership Team will read a special Red Ribbon Week announcement about this year’s theme and healthy choices.
- All students will receive a red ribbon and be encouraged to wear it all week to school.
Tuesday (Theme: “Team Up Against Drugs!”/Pledge Day)- Students and staff may wear their favorite sport’s team shirt/jersey.
- A member of the 5th Grade Leadership Team will read a special Red Ribbon Week announcement about staying drug free and achieving your goals.
- The classrooms will sign the Red Ribbon Week Pledge after they listen to the morning announcements.
Wednesday (Theme: “I’m Too Bright For Drugs!”)- Students and staff may wear neon/bright colors and sunglasses.
- A member of the 5th Grade Leadership Team will read a special Red Ribbon Week announcement about fitting in or belonging without using drugs. Celebrate your uniqueness.
Thursday (Theme: “Friends Don’t Let Friends Do Drugs!”)- Students and staff may dress like twins with their friend.
- A member of the 5th Grade Leadership Team will read a special Red Ribbon Week announcement about students committing to themselves to continue making healthy choices to ensure a
brighter future and how much Foster Village wants their students to lead happy, healthy, and wonderful lives by staying drug free.
Friday (Theme: “Build Good Character!”)- Dress as your favorite storybook character.
- A member of the 5th Grade Leadership Team will read a special Red Ribbon Week announcement about students supporting Red Ribbon Week and supporting healthy, drug free lifestyles.
