    Monday  (Theme: “Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free.”/Decoration Day)

    • Students and staff may wear their favorite team jersey or team colors.
    • The theme will be presented during morning announcements.
    • Morning announcements will also include a fact about the history of Red Ribbon Week.
    • Leadership Team will put ribbons on the trees and the fences.
    • All classes will make a “Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free.” banner out of butcher paper. Students will add pictures of activities they can participate in such as sports, dance, family time etc. The banner will be hung in the hall on Thursday.
    • All students will receive a red ribbon provided by the district.

    Tuesday  (Theme: “Be Brave! Be A Buddy, Not A Bully!”)

    • Staff and students may dress alike.
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • Students will watch a video about how to stop bullying.
    • Individual student coloring page or word search will be given to the students.

    Wednesday  (Theme: “Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free.”/Wear Red Day)

    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme and a fact about the history of Red Ribbon Week will be read.
    • Students and staff may wear red from head to toe.
    • Teachers will take a picture of their class wearing red and send these pictures to the counselor.
    • Compliment Day: Students are encouraged to use kind words.

    Thursday  (Theme: Pledge Day)

    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme and a fact about the history of Red Ribbon Week will be read.
    • Each classroom will create a “Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free.” banner out of butcher paper. The students will sign it and display it.

    Friday  (Theme: “Be Happy! Be Brave! Be Drug Free.”)

    • Dress up like your favorite superhero or community helpers.
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • There will be a Red Ribbon Week Post on Facebook and our website.
