Angel Reyes, Haltom High School sophomore, was recognized as BISD’s 2021 Holiday Card Contest first-place winner; Callum Aspaas, Birdville High School sophomore, was recognized as the second-place winner; and Nolan Ratsabouth, Richland High School junior, was recognized as the third-place winner. 

Approved the donations from: 

• Birdville Choir Boosters, Inc. to Smithfield Middle School’s Choir; 
• Upper Ninety Booster Club to Birdville High School’s girls soccer program; 
• Businessmen’s Power Lunch Group to Holiday Heights Elementary; and 
• ONEOK, Inc. to BCTAL Blooms.  

Approved Local Board Policies reflecting changes based on moving from six-week to nine-week grading periods starting with the 2022–23 school year. Revisions were made to policies: 

• EIA (LOCAL) Academic Achievement: Grading/Progress Reports to Parents 
• EIC (LOCAL) Academic Achievement: Class Rank 
• FDB (LOCAL) Admissions: Intradistrict Transfers and Classroom Assignment  

Approved the resolution casting 82 votes for Tony Pompa and 82 votes for Joseph Ralph (J.R.) Martinez in the Tarrant Appraisal District Board of Directors election. 

Approved the Interlocal Agreement with JPS for pediatric and adolescent behavior health services.  

Approved the Tarrant County District Appraisal fees for 2022.  

Approved the Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative Interlocal Agreement for Child Nutrition purchases.  

Approved budget amendments.  

Approved the School Health Advisory Council members.
