Mark Thomas
Chief Communications Officer

Mark Thomas joined Birdville ISD as Communications Officer in January 1999. He has worked in education for more than 26 years. He began his career in BISD in 1993 as the district's media technology teacher. Prior to joining BISD, he worked in video production on Tarrant County College South Campus. He is also a freelance writer and has been published in various publications. Thomas also has more than 10 years of experience in television production.

Thomas received his bachelor's degree from Howard Payne University in 1985 and his teaching credentials from the University of North Texas in 1995.
