Starting school is a big step for both parents and students. At Birdville ISD, we're here to support you every step of the way as your child begins their educational journey. If your child is turning five on or before September 1, they're eligible for our Kindergarten program! We encourage you to start the registration process early to secure their spot and help us prepare for their arrival in August. By registering promptly, you assist us in hiring the best teachers and allocating resources effectively. Sign up for "Let's Go To Kindergarten" alerts to receive helpful emails answering common questions and providing resources to prepare your child for their first day in August. Open Enrollment is a process through which in-district and out-of-district students may apply to a Birdville ISD campus other than the one they are zoned to attend based on their residential address. Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis and require approval by the campus principal and an administrator in the Student Services Department. > Apply
