Quality Instruction

Birdville ISD offers a comprehensive education to 22,200+ students from pre-K to 12th grade, focusing on language arts, math, science, and social studies, aligned with TEKS. Students consistently excel on state and national tests, with access to college-level, pre-AP, and AP courses. Additional programs include world languages, fine arts, athletics, military science, and career and technology, with opportunities for multiple endorsements. Special programs cater to diverse student needs, including special education, dual language/ESL, gifted and talented, and alternative options.

State Recognized Athletics

Birdville ISD's athletics program offers a diverse array of sports activities, competing in 13 sports across University Interscholastic League's Class 5A and 6A divisions in Texas.

Open Enrollment is a process through which in-district and out-of-district students may apply to a Birdville ISD campus other than the one they are zoned to attend based on their residential address. Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis and require approval by the campus principal and an administrator in the Student Services Department. > Apply

Every year, applications are considered on a case-by-case basis and require approval by the campus principal and an administrator in the Student Services Department. > Apply
