BISD offers support to school district for career and technical education programs in Journalism / Agriculatural Food and Natural Resources / Architecture and Construction / Transportation, Distribution and Logistics / Arts, Audio Visual Technology and Communications / Hospitality and Tourism / Business Management and Administration / Finance / Marketing / Information Technology / Education and Training / Human Services / Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security / Government and Public Administration / Health Science / Science, Engineering and Technology. Admission to these programs is based on enrollment in BISD secondary schools.

Spring 2019 CTE Employer Appreciation Luncheon
The Birdville Independent School District Career and Technology Education Employer Appreciation Luncheon was a tremendous success! We celebrated our CTE employers and training sponsors that provide real-world relevant training for our students.
It was a tremendous team effort from our CTE teachers and staff: many thanks to Lisa Carnes, Kim McCrory, DeeDee Bocanegra, Haven Henning and Andrea Anderson for putting together details and decorations that made the luncheon possible. We also appreciate Matt Demas for the excellent technical and audio video support.
A special “thank you “ goes to our motivating keynote speaker, Chad Lewis, we appreciate his passion and expertise about employment and training opportunities for our students, that help prepare them for successful careers.
