All medications must be brought to the clinic in the original container, non expired and  have a permit signed by a parent/guardian. We ask that an adult provide all medications in person and not be sent with the student.
     * If medication will be a daily medication or that will be given more than 10 times in the school year,MUST have a physician signature to administer.
     * If you want your student to self carry an inhaler and/or epi pen, this must be approved by your child's physician and they must sign the BISD permit and indicate "self carry" where appropriate and provide this to the nurse.
     * BISD does not allow the administration of dietary supplements or nutritional aids not approved as medication by the FDA and must be accompanied with proper paperwork.
     * If medication is not picked up by parent by end of year, it will be destroyed at the end of every year. Medication will not be sent home with student.
