Birdville ISD is proud to announce our Train & Play Intramural Sports League for any and all 6th Grade BISD students ONLY. Our young ladies will have a the chance to participate in Girls Basketball and Volleyball, while our young men will have the chance to participate in Boys Basketball and Flag Football. The league will be FREE to all Birdville ISD students. The Train & Play League will consist of 1 hour of skills & drills and 1 hour of play competition with our high school coaches, middle coaches and high school player volunteers. An Athletic Trainer and Security will be on site for the League.
(NOTE: Registration link will close at 10 p.m. the night before prior to any Train and Play date for finalizing registration for student athletes that are joining the group. Registration will reopen the following day by 10 a.m.
The Train & Play League will take place at the feeder high school of your child's middle school.

4:45 - 6:45 pmIf you are dropping off your student, you will need to take them to the main gym of their feeder high school by 4:45 pm to 5:00 pm.No earlier or later due to safety & security purposes. -
What to Wear
Students will need to be dressed comfortably and have the appropriate shoes for their sport of choice.

Transportation and Gym Entrances
Students can ride the bus from their middle school to their feeder high school or their parent/guardian can drop the student off at the feeder high school from 4:45 - 5 pm at the Main Gym.NOTE: If your student rides the bus to the high school, a parent or guardian will have to be there by 6:45 pm to pick them up.Photos of Gym Entrances:> View Birdville HS> View Haltom HS> View Richland HS -
Snacks and Water
Snacks will be provided to students during the train and play sessions. Students are welcomed to bring their own snacks and water bottle with their name on it.

Spectators
Parents are allowed to stay and watch their children in the league. We just ask that you sit in the designated areas and do not interfere with our staff that is coaching.

Students that participate in all 4 dates of their selected sports will receive a shirt from their feeder high school showcasing their future school pride. Other prizes will be given throughout the time period of the league.
