Birdville High School

Welcome to Birdville High School Counseling Page!

    Dear Birdville High School  Families,

Our comprehensive school counseling program is committed to providing your student with social-emotional support and counseling services throughout the school year and during this time of face-to-face and virtual learning. These services will be provided remotely in the following manner:

    • BISD Counselor’s Corner Webpage
    • Canvas: All students will be invited to our Canvas page.
    • Google Voice/Text for remote phone conferencing and counseling.
    • Google Hangout Meet for remote video conferencing and counseling
    • Email for communication and conferencing

We are available for BHS families Monday-Friday from 7:00 am-3:00 pm.

Parents, students, and teachers/staff can refer a student for routine concerns but referrals should not be used for mental health emergencies. If your child is experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 911 or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room for help. If your child is having suicidal thoughts or making plans to harm themselves, you may also call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1- 800-273-TALK (8255) for free 24 hour hotline support.

Please note:  Although we make every effort to protect students’ privacy, we cannot guarantee confidentiality in an online environment.

Thank you in advance for your patience as we work together this year! I know this continues to be a difficult time for everyone and we are committed to offering support to you and your child/children.
