    Mission Statement:

The Birdville Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (BRDSPD) acknowledges that students who are deaf and hard-of-hearing belong to a group that is culturally and lingusitically diverse.  We believe that children who are hearing impaired have an innate need to communicate and be academically challenged.  The program agrees that each student's unique communication mode is respected, used and developed (in alignment with TEC §29.303) in order to become successful partifcipants in society.  We embrace a communication method that works best for each individual child.
