Fall School-to-Work Coalition Luncheon 2018

  • We had a great School-to-Work Coalition Luncheon on November 14th, we recognized our Outstanding Community Partner for 2018-2019. Medical City North Hills Hospital has supported student internships for the past forty years, and we are extremely grateful  to Medical City North Hills Hospital for giving BISD students this tremendous opportunity to pursue careers in the high demand field of Health Science. Thank you to Richard Davis, BISD School Board President, for presenting the special recognition.
  • We also had the opportunity to recognize Thomas Powell and Marilyn Ackmann for their dedication and service to the CTE Scholarship Committee.
  • It was a tremendous team effort from our CTE staff: Lisa Carnes, Kim McCrory, DeeDee Bocanegra, Susan French, Andrea Anderson, Elizabeth Clayton, Lisa Harrison, Mike Benton, Carol Adcock and our CTE student leaders listed below that spoke about the Marketing/Entrepreneurship, Health Science, Culinary Arts and Audio Video Production programs.
