THE RIDGE WAY
Vision: To provide a school wide process that provides prevention, early intervention and appropriate instruction to endure the academic process and success of all students.
Mission: In order to promote the safety and health of all NRMS students. "The Ridge Way" addresses student's behaviors that are non-conducive to the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, restrooms, and the learning environments.
By clicking on the link below you will find the matrix used as a campus wide structure for all 6th-8th grade students. The positive expectation behavior plan is for continued minor behavior that would be assigned as a teacher d-hall of 30 minutes after school. Any teacher can assign to any student. In addition to these campus procedures, we are asking that students move through the halls on the right side for safety and for appropriate traffic flow with a four minute passing period. These student expectations have been in place since the beginning of the school year, for a reference please see the North Ridge Student Handbook.
