Several members of the Birdville ISD family were recently honored by the Northeast Richland Lions Club for outstanding service to the community and organization. 

At the annual awards and officers’ installation meeting on June 30, Dr. Gayle Stinson, Superintendent of Schools, received the President’s Choice Award. Selected by club President Sidonna Foust, Dr. Stinson was awarded this recognition for going above and beyond to make a meaningful impact within the organization and local community.

Trustee Richard Davis received a Lions Appreciation Award for making a continued meaningful impact on the club. Dave Lambson, Chief Technology Officer, received the Lion of the Year Award in recognition of outstanding service and loyalty to the organization. 

And Phil Beckman, Manager of Community Engagement and Strategic Partnerships, received the Melvin Jones Award for demonstrating outstanding humanitarian service and a commitment to helping others.
