PSAT/NMSQT Testing Date and Information

PSAT/NMSQT stands for Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. PSAT/NMSQT a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT Reasoning Test™. PSAT testing available for home-schooled students
Under Section 29.916 of the Texas Education Code, public schools are required to allow home-schooled students who reside within the district to participate in an administration of the PSAT/NMSQT or Advanced Placement (AP) test offered by the district. The student is required to pay the same fee to participate in a test that a student enrolled in the district is required to pay.Home-schooled students wishing to participate in PSAT or AP testing should contact the lead counselor at the high school where they will test at least one month prior to the testing date. Students will be asked to provide documentation of residence within the attendance zone of the school in order to participate.
