Program Purpose
The purpose of 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant program is to provide opportunities for communities to establish or expand activities in learning centers that provide opportunities for academic enrichment, offer students a broad array of additional services, programs and activities, and offer families opportunities for literacy, related educational development, and other services.
Program Goals
The purpose of the program is to provide high-quality extended learning opportunities outside of the regular school day to students in need of academic assistance and enrichment opportunities to help students meet academic standards and graduate ready for college and/or the workforce. The main objectives of the Texas 21st CCLC program are to improve academics, attendance, behavior, and promotion and graduation rates.
The Program Operates
Monday- Friday morning from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.
Monday-Thursday after school from 3:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.
Dinner is served 5:15p.m. - 5:30p.m.
Early Dismissal from ASPIRE need to be told to ASPIRE coordinator before programming starts unless it's an emergency. (In case of emergency ONLY please call 817-547-2730 after 3:30 p.m.)
