    • Class expectations:

Physics is the most all-encompassing of the sciences. Physics attempts to understand how everything works from the smallest sub-atomic particle to the universe as a whole. It is the framework on which all science and technology is built.

    Norms for the class:

    1. Respect for others, yourself, and the process of learning.
    2. Responsibilityfor your actions.
    3. Positive Attitude and Contribution to the class.
    4. Effort – Develop a persistent determination for growth.
    5. Engage in class, think, and participate.
    6. Open mind- Science is the process of learning from mistakes, crazy ideas, false starts, wild conjectures, and journeys down dead-end roads. We can’t figure anything out if we are afraid to step into the unknown.
