Brandi Black
Assistant Athletic Coordinator 
Head Girl’s Coach – Volleyball and Track

Brandi is in her 12th year at North Richland.  Brandi was born in Ft. Worth and graduated from Haltom High School where she excelled in volleyball.  She is an alumnus of Midwestern State University where she continued her volleyball career.  Brandi has a daughter named Bailey.  In her spare time Coach Black enjoys being with her family, playing volleyball, working out, and photography.



Stacey English
Volleyball, Cross Country and Track

Stacey grew up in NRH, where she was a four sport athlete as a Falcon and a Rebel.  She went on to play softball at Texas Wesleyan University. After college, she coached Volleyball and Softball at Crowley HS. where they were the Back to Back 4A Softball State Champions.  She then moved to San Antonio where she taught math and coached volleyball.  Coach Clark is excited to be back in North Richland Hills and can't wait to be a Falcon again.  She has a husband named Bryan and three kids, Brett, Lexi and Rielyn.



Sherryl Dickey
Basketball and Track

Sherryl is in her 12th year at NRMS and 20th year teaching. She was born and went to high school in Mesquite Texas. She graduated college at Texas A&M University in Commerce. In her spare time she Loves to travel, be on the lake and cycle.


Lori Liles
 Basketball, Off Season and Track

Lori is in her 7th year at North Richland. Lori is an experienced coach and is excited to develop our Lady Falcon athletes.

Daniel Arnold
Football (WR's and CB's), Basketball and Track
Daniel is entering his 8th year of coaching and teaching in BISD. He is a proud alum of North Richland Middle and Richland High School. Daniel played soccer at Hardin Simmons University. He is excited to be back at North Richland and looks forward to developing young men of character. 
Larry Nixon
Football (Receivers and Linebackers), Basketball and Track

Larry graduated from Palestine High School. His senior year he earned All State honors as a defensive end and wide receiver.  As a senior he earned The Luke Thornton Athletic award, which is the highest award a student-athlete can receive at Palestine high. He earned a full scholarship to Sam Houston State University as a wide receiver lettering as an All Conference receiver his senior year. After college he played in the Arena Football League for the for 3 years. He began his coaching career at Chapel Hill high school in Tyler, TX. There they were district 16-3A Bi-district champs in 2007. From 2009-2011 he coached at Sam Houston Middle School where they won city championships in football, basketball and track. He is excited to be going into his third year at North Richland Middle. He is married with 3 boys.   


Johnny Summerhill
Football (O.Line and D.Line), Basketball and Track

Johnny is a graduate of Brewer High School.  After excelling in football in high school he continued his playing career as a running back at Howard Payne University.  He is an alumni of the University of North Texas.  Johnny is married to Stacy Summerhill and they have three kids named Austin, Zach, and Sarah. His oldest son attends the University of Texas in Austin.  In his spare time Coach Summerhill enjoys fishing and hunting, gardening, and music.  Johnny is excited to be starting his 10th year at North Richland.


Austin Woodall
 Athletic Coordinator
Football (QB's and Linebackers), Basketball, Cross Country and Track
Austin is a proud Richland High School Alum. He was part of a proud Rebel Football and Rebel Baseball tradition. He graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Kinesiology. He has been coaching at North Richland Middle School for 7 years and thrilled to be over the program. He is married to Miranda Woodall, who also works in the district and they have a son named Colt, "Coltman!" 



Medical Clinics
Birdville ISD and JPS have joined together to provide two school-based clinics in the district. One is in Haltom City at 2807 Layton Ave., and the other is on the south side of the Academy at C.F. Thomas at 8200 O’Brian Way in North Richland Hills. The clinics treat students in BISD and their siblings ages newborn to 18-years-old. Services include:  well-child visits, sports physicals, acute care, chronic illnesses (asthma, diabetes), immunizations, and much more. The clinic does not have X-ray capabilities or dental services. They see uninsured or Medicaid students that do not have a specified primary care physician. For appointments, call 817-759-2035 (Haltom City) or 817-547-3046 (C.F. Thomas)
