What are Clothes Connection and Supply Depot?
The Birdville ISD Council of PTAs operates two programs to help BISD students from low-income homes: Clothes Connection & Supply Depot.  These programs serve disadvantaged BISD students with school supplies, one shoe voucher, and two (2) clothing orders per year.
    Who qualifies?
Any family on free or reduced meal plans automatically qualifies for the Clothes Connection program. The confirmation letter received from the BISD Child Nutrition office will be used to determine eligibility.  School personnel needing to make an emergency referral should send email to clothing.connection@birdvilleschools.net.
Please do not show up at Clothes Connection & Supply Depot without your confirmation letter or you will not be able to obtain clothes.
    What is available?
    Eligible Students may receive:
    • one week’s worth of new underwear, new socks, and gently used clothes, once per semester for each qualified student
    • one shoe voucher to Payless Shoesource, once per school year for each qualified student
    • one jacket and one coat, once per year for each qualified student
How do I get the clothing?
Bring your eligibility letter from the Child Nutrition department to the Clothes Connection during the hours of operation.
If you have questions about whether your child qualifies, contact your campus nurse or counselor.
