We welcome the opportunity to assist students in their future teaching endeavors.Student Teacher Information:
If you are interested in requesting placement as a student teacher, please have your university or ACP, contact John Campbell, Assistant Director of Human Resources. <<email John Campbell>> Once we have the request from your university or ACP we will begin working on your placement. If you are interested in obtaining classroom observation hours, please visit the Classroom Observation/Placement link located on the left-hand side of this page for registration information. Additional questions may be directed to <<Belinda Uriostegui Martinez>> in Human Resources.
Master-level non-paid internship:
If you are interested in completing a non-paid internship, please have your university contact the BISD HR department: John Campbell, Assistant Direcctor of Human Resources. <<email John Campbell>>. Once we have the request from your university or ACP we will begin working on your placement.When your placement has been approved, Student Teachers, Classroom Observers and Non-Paid Intern Candidates must complete a background check, which is included in the Volunteer Application.
