Dr. Cheryl Waddell, Principal

  • It is an honor and privilege to serve as John D. Spicer’s principal. I have had the pleasure of serving as a Spicer Colt for the past 13 years. I am truly honored to be part of such a caring, compassionate, and hard-working school family.

    Our mission is: “Together we can shape tomorrow’s leaders by collaborating with students, parents and teachers in order to support the whole child.”

    As educators, we have the incredible responsibility and opportunity of not just teaching our children, but to also make a positive impact in their lives. It is our charge to teach and meet the needs of every child academically, socially, and emotionally. 

    As your principal, I promise to keep students at the forefront of every decision we make as a campus.  I encourage every Spicer family to be a part of our school family, become a volunteer, join PTA and attend our fun family events!
