Become a Mentor

mentor button

A mentor is a positive role model, confidant, and friend who connects with a Birdville ISD student needing guidance and support. Mentors don’t need all the answers; they just need to show up consistently, providing unconditional encouragement and helping students see their potential. Through programs like Academy 4, which partners with local churches to provide mentors to every fourth grader at Binion, Cheney Hills, Mullendore, Watauga, West Birdville, Hardeman, and Foster Village elementary schools.

Birdville ISD offers community members a meaningful way to empower students. Interested mentors can apply, undergo screening, and commit to mentoring on school grounds.
