Purpose
The Athletic Hall of Honor Banquet was established to recognize members of the Birdville Independent School District’s family who have distinguished themselves as outstanding contributors to Birdville athletics, and possibly beyond, instilling a continuing commitment to and the promotion of the beliefs that BISD values.
Criteria for Athlete
- Athletic participation at one of our three high schools in Birdville ISD.
- Must have been out of high school for at least 5 years.
- While athletic achievement is of prime importance, attainment of Birdville ISD virtues during high school and post high school years will be taken into consideration.
- Other factors to consider: individual and team accomplishments and balance among sports and time periods.
- Nominees in the Hall of Honor shall have an equal opportunity for admission without discrimination based on their race, creed, sex, marital status, national origin, ability, or disability.
Criteria for Coach
- Must have made a significant contribution to Birdville ISD athletics and have implemented the BISD beliefs in their life
- Must have been out of coaching in BISD for at least 5 years
- Other factors to consider: longevity, honors, peer recognition, balance among sports, and team accomplishments

Booster Club Info
Booster Club Guidelines are published by the University Interscholastic League (UIL) in order to assist schools and parents with determining the proper role for local booster clubs to play as they support the students who participate in UIL sponsored sports and activities. These guidelines are general in nature and are not intended to provide legal advice or act as a substitute for the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules. In case of any disagreement between these guidelines and the law or UIL rules, the law and/or UIL rules, as applicable, will control. These Guidelines are not a substitute for an opinion from the State Executive Committee and may not be relied upon as such. Clear Bag Policy
OFFICIAL CLEAR BAG POLICY
Birdville ISD’s Clear Bag Policy applies to all guests attending events as spectators (not participants) at the Birdville Stadium, W.G. Thomas Coliseum and the BISD Fine Arts/Athletics Complex. All bags and personal items are subject to visual inspection prior to guest admittance into the venue. Guests are encouraged to limit the number of items brought with them to these facilities.

District and Stadium Rules and Regulations:
- All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges
- Concessions are available (CASH only)
- NO Pets allowed
- Paperwork REQUIRED for Service Animals
- NO personal heaters allowed
- NO outside food or drinks allowed (including water)
- NO alcohol is allowed
- Smoking is PROHIBITED in all areas of the stadiums (this includes: All smoking tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaporizers)

All requests must be submitted to BISD Athletic Department by Noon on Wednesday preceding the scheduled event. The application does not guarantee entrance into the press box or sidelines. You will receive an email Thursday of game week with instructions if your request was confirmed.

Free Lifetime General Admission for athletics events held at the following locations:

Free Lifeteam admission to BISD cultural events (e.g., musicals, plays, etc.) at all BISD schools and the BISD FAAC.

They must show their driver’s license to prove age and residence. If they do not have a driver's license, they’ll need to show some type of legal proof of age and proof of residence within the School District
