Gifted and Talented Nominations- Accepted now until November 2nd at 4pm
It’s that time of year again…GT Nominations! Anyone can nominate a student (9-12) for Gifted and Talented testing and I encourage you to do so. The process is much easier this year as everything is online this year! (Yay!) There is NO LIMIT to how many students you nominate. (Last year, I tested around 45-50 students)
For nominations, please consider ALL types of students…SPED, ESL, EL, Newcomer, AP, Pre-AP, Economically disadvantaged, On-Level, band, Art, etc. If you believe this student has untapped potential or simply has yet to be identified, nominate them! Teachers, if the student does not have a “G” by their name in Skyward, they are eligible to be nominated for Gifted and Talented testing. The nomination also can be from CTE and Non-CORE teachers. There is also a link to more information on GT students from diverse backgrounds, like many of the students we have here at Haltom. Please consider nominating your students, click the links below to fill out the forms and email me with any questions.
