    Flex Model of Blended Learning

BISD Summer School teachers will get to know their students well and understand where and how they need to develop in order to become self-directed learners. Our teachers use data from the pretest to diagnose student needs and use their professional skills and shared knowledge of best practices to personalize learning for every student.  Your child will receive the bulk of their curriculum through Edgenuity with personalized direction from a certified teacher while participating in each course. Students who need support will sign up to attend a face-to-face tutorial session on campus. Students can also sign up for their tests and final exams online through their teacher.

    Student Technology

All summer school students must have technology access for four hours a day per course. Students who have already checked out a Birdville ISD Chrome Book will keep it for the duration of summer school.

Out-of-district students must provide their own technology.
