BISD is changing school start times and end times beginning with the 2010-11 school year. This change will reduce the number of early morning pickups for many students, provide sufficient time for routes to handle increased traffic congestion, provide the capacity to manage future growth, and improve scheduling and efficiency of field trips and extra curricular activities.
New Start/End Times
Kindergarten
New: 8 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Current: 8 a.m. – 2:25 p.m.
Elementary
(Remains the Same)
8 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Middle School
New: 8:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Current: 8 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
High School
New: 8:55 a.m. – 4:10 p.m.
Current: 8:20 a.m. – 3:26 p.m. |
