Elementary a.m. Campus-based module ALTs

 

Campuses select one fo the three remaining. (Classroom continuous Improvement/PDSA, Marzano's Nine Strategies, WOW Coaching for Design, Response to Intervention)

Teacher Leaders facilitate the ALTs using the training videos and materials designed by the core content consultants this year.

 

p.m. District-wide content/curriculum

Teachers report to content/curriculum meetings with consultants. These district-wide groups can have quality focused time for curriculum previews, TEKS updates, TAKS questions, TEKS Checks analysis, textbook and resourse issues, effective content strategies, and model lsesesons. Elementary principals ensure that teachers attend the appropriate contenet meeting as listed below. Since some teachers are departmentalized and some ar enot, it will be improtatnt for elementary pricipals to specifically assign teacher to each of the four core content areas.
