Barbara's undergraduate degree was in Education. Her first professional position was teaching deaf students and she also has several years of experience teaching in the regular education classroom setting. For a number of years she provided mental health services in the community setting, but has worked as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology for more than twenty years. Barbara has earned graduate degrees in the following areas: Clinical Psychology, Educational Administration, and Counseling. She coordinates the BISD Boys Town Specialized Classroom Management training program. She collaborates with Jamie Thomas to present Positive Behavior Support training for Early Childhood educators. .
