As school nurses we continually create and develop new knowledge and skill for the health care of our most valuable resources, students, staff and school community partners. We work independently and inter-dependently with community resources and families using intervention that assists students and staff to achieve their maximum health potential. We continually reassess and prioritize to set new goals for nursing care on the basis of evaluation. As school nurses we look for new and innovative research as the needs warrant in these progressive and changing times. We endure obstacles and oppositions while creating and developing new knowledge and skills to better deliver health care to the students, staff and families of our school communities.
