Operating to serve the Birdville Independent School District community, the communications department consolidates the major communications vehicles of the district into one department for better coordination and dissemination of information. The department includes four full-time employees, and encompasses public information, district publications, the district's Web site, and BISD Channel 30. This award-winning department functions with one goal - to maintain an ongoing, open and effective communications process which provides an environment of understanding and support for Birdville ISD. The communications department is dedicated to being service oriented.

Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Staff and Student Services the communications department also plans various special events and recognition celebrations.
Birdville ISD uses Google Translator as a resource to provide multilingual communications to our visitors.
