We are dedicated to the gathering and analysis of student assessment and other data
to improve decision-making across the organization. The department oversees the assessment of students in the state testing program as well as locally-administered
nationally-normed assessments and local benchmark assessments. Other departmental duties include ensuring compliance with state and federal accountability systems and the evaluation of instructional programs to determine their impact on student learning.
The BISD testing program includes the following assessments

- TELPAS (Texas English Language Proficiency Accountability System), grades K-12
