Elected to the BISD Board of Trustees in 2006, Tolbert is married to Heather and has three children-Hunter, Sloane and Sophie.
Tolbert served as a member of the 2006 BISD bond study committee.
He is involved with the Lions Club, Christ's Haven for Children, Inc., and the Fort Worth Teen Court, Inc. Tolbert is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and Richland Hills Church of Christ.
