Born and raised in Fort Worth, Mrs. Webb has been a lifelong resident of Tarrant County. She attended Birdville schools and graduated from Richland High School in 1964. In 1967, Mrs. Webb received a B.A. in English from North Texas State University and M.Ed. in Public School Administration in 1980. For 11 years, she taught English in the Birdville schools, and for the next seven years served as a secondary assistant principal. In 1987, Mrs. Webb left the educational arena and became an agent for State Farm Insurance in North Richland Hills. In May 1990, she again became involved in education when she was elected to serve on the Birdville ISD Board of Trustees. She has served in all offices on the board.

Since 1966, she has been married to Roger Webb. They have three daughters: Amy Webb Norred, a graduate of The University of North Texas and the mother of Cade, Alec Nealie and Nick; Alicia Webb Edwards, a graduate of Oklahoma State University and the mother of Cole, Madison, Drew and Austin; and Andrea Webb Bradshaw, a graduate of Texas A&M University. Roger is a retired teacher from Haltom High School (1972-2000).

Mrs. Webb is a member of The Northeast Tarrant Chamber and a member of the Northeast Richland Lions Club. She is a 1995 graduate of Leadership TASB and holds the designation of Master Trustee. She and her husband are active members of Heritage Church of Christ where Mr. Webb serves as an elder.
